Meet Our Hospital Family
Jacqueline R. Brockett DVM, MS
Dr. Brockett graduated from Texas A&M University-College of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. Prior to vet school she earned her BS and MS in animal science from Texas A&M University. Dr. Brockett worked as a small animal veterinarian in Burleson from 2006-2009. She also worked as an emergency vet at I-20 Animal Medical Center in Arlington. She has a special interest in internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, emergency medicine and critical care. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Texas Veterinary Medical Association and Tarrant County Veterinary Medical Association.

Dr. Brockett shares her home with her husband Josh who is a civil engineer at Childress Engineers in Cleburne. They have two beautiful little girls, Rebekah and Rachael. Rebekah enjoys playing with stuffed animals and riding her pony Pancho. Rachael enjoys playing with the cats and chasing after her big sister.

The Brockett animal pack includes a pound puppy named Cupcake, six cats named Kelly, Sunshine, NK (New Kitty), Butters, Willie and Princess, two guinea pigs named Ron and Harry, a pony named Pancho and a pig named PoCho. Feel free to ask for the story behind the pig...it’s a good one!
Talitha Lane
Talitha attended The University of Texas-Arlington after high school, majoring in Clinical Psychology with a minor in Pathology. She has been working in veterinary hospitals for the past two years. She has experience in every aspect of the hospital from working in the front office to caring for patients in the back to assisting during surgery. Talitha has exceptional customer service and would like to rescue every pet that needs a home.

Talitha and her daughter Danika (Dani) reside in Joshua. They share their home with Dakota, a husky/australian shepherd mix, Leroy Brown, a rat terrier, and two rescue kitty cats, Itchy and Scratchy who were both acquired while at work. Her free time is spent enjoying mommy/daughter time with Dani, reading, and traveling.
Jacob Zachary
Jacob is a native of Cleburne and a proud graduate of Cleburne High School. He is currently attending Angelo Sate University where he is pursuing a degree in Animal Science with a minor in chemistry. He plans on attending vet school after graduating next may. He enjoys learning from the staff at NRAH and loves meeting all the patients.

Jacob has two dogs, a yorkie named Duke as well as a Border collie/German Shepard mix named Ellie-May. His family also has a cat named Cleo.
Shaymus "ShayShay" Lane
Head of Security
Shaymus was born December 9th, 2007. A well-educated and strongly opinionated Bengal, ShayShay has moved quickly up the corporate ladder at NRAH. Shaymus made his first appearance in our lives after being brutally attacked by unsavory canines while defending his home & his humans. Dr. Brockett treated this new-found hero's wounds & Shaymus made a swift recovery. Talitha was asked if she would like to adopt him and was unable to pass up such a wonderful opportunity. This handsome, brave, and social Bengal craves the spotlight, therefore Dr. Brockett & the hospital staff thought it best to create a position for Shaymus. He performs his daily duties (lounging, chatting with clients, eating, etc) with pride and flourish. NRAH would not be the same without him.
